Beam

Designed to provide uncompromising video quality at incredible distances, the Beam H.264 transmitter is perfect for ENG backhaul and moving vehicle applications

Incredible Range

Transmitting over the unlicensed 5GHz band, Beam can attain distances up to 2500ft, perfect for ENG crews feeding full HD video back to an OB van.

Pristine Video Quality

Beam utilizes H.264 compression (Main profile) and can stream at up to 15 Mbps over its wireless link with just 2 frames of latency. When connected to a LAN, the device can stream up to 30 Mbps.

Built for Broadcasters

With 3G-SDI I/O and your choice of Gold- or V-mount battery plates, Beam seamlessly integrates with all popular professional cameras. An OLED is built-in for quick device configuration and the full duplex RS-422 port offers remote camera control.

Multicast Capable

Beam can stream to up to 4 receivers simultaneously, allowing you to send your feed to multiple destinations without any loss in video quality or added delay.

Protocol Support

Beam supports both the RTSP and MPEG-TS protocols. Beam decoders can also act as an RTSP server, which will re-stream your video feed directly to a local computer.

Bi-Directional IFB

Beam features a dedicated bi-directional IFB channel, which allows a news operations center to speak directly to the camera operator in the field.

Camera Control

Beam’s serial RS-422 port allows you to remotely control compatible PTZ cameras with a selectable baud rate up to 115.2 k/bits.
